Mohammed Musa Bello is a Nigerian banker, technocrat, and politician who served as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory from 2015 to 2023 under President Muhammadu Buhari.
An Adamawa-born administrator with degrees in management and business administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Bello had an extensive banking career before chairing the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, where he introduced reforms in pilgrimage administration. As FCT Minister, he focused on urban infrastructure, transportation, and land administration. Known for his quiet and technocratic style, Bello is one of the longest-serving FCT ministers in Nigeria’s history.
